freelance here. This is my bug report for the current public demo.
-Units die often while trying to build near water. They walk into the water by accident.
-Selecting a unit, then clicking an enemy unit to fight makes your unit move to the enemy in a straight line, over water and other obstacles.
-FWs don't seem to have the range that they should, although I"m not sure if full unit functions were supposed to be in this demo release.
-Max pop seems to grow very slowly until a substantial number of huts are built. (Around 20+ maybe?) Are empty huts supposed to never generate braves in TC or is this a bug?
-Spells that cost too much mana sometimes seem to not charge at all. Spells that you have just enough mana for charge, then charge backwards for a bit before charging normally.
-Erode doesn't properly lower buildings. They float, and casting EQ on the floating buildings gives an unhandled exception error.
-Winning gave me an unhandled exception error. Same type as the EQ one. Something about an object thing not being attached to an instance of the object.
-General rendering bug. Shadows don't render properly, probably because I'm using DirectX 11. Could also be my Intel HD Graphics 3000 GPU or Windows 7 64 bit or any number of other things. Just mentioning because I don't know the cause.
-Problems with Blast/Light on enemy Shamans in their RS. They "die" when lighted, but come back instantly a hut's distance away. Casting Light/Blast on the middle of the site after causes the spell's effect on your casting Shaman. Enemy Shamans refuse to die after this happens. (The death animation happens, but they don't die.)
-The game makes my laptop's fan go crazy. Not really a bug, but I thought it was worth noting. I probably need a better graphics card.
-Forum bug. Passwords and probably usernames over a certain number of characters always give "Wrong Password." (I think the limit is 8. If the username/password doesn't fit in the box with no scrolling, then it will give your "Wrong Password" even if both were correct.)

several of these issues are already addressed in the current source tree, as for the rendering bug it's probably not win7 x64, could be the graphics card, will need a screenshot to be certain.

Here you go. You can see the bug on the hills and the hut. Also a little bit on the RS. Shadows aren't rendering smoothly for some reason.

yuck, yeah I see that with the cheaper graphics cards (intel and SiS), something to do with hardware T&L I think. I will have to tinker with the engine on a machine with an intel card to see if I can find a shader mode that doesn't look like crap
